Who Dominic Holland is
Dominic Holland is an English stand-up comedian, writer and author who won the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 1993 and was nominated for Best Comedy Show in 1996. He has been a guest on Have I Got News for You, wrote and presented The Small World of Dominic Holland in 2000, captained a team on The What in the World?
Quiz, and has written for Harry Enfield's Brand Spanking New Show, The Rob Brydon Show and Warren United, with radio spots on The News Quiz and Breaking the News. His stand-up hours The Glory Year and Alive in Tring, the second performed to a home-town crowd in Tring, were released through NextUp Comedy in 2020, and his books include the novels Only in America, The Fruit Bowl and Open Links, the memoir Eclipsed and two volumes of comic essays, Takes on Life.
