What D.O.C. keeps — and where.

The short version: what you make here stays on your device, nothing leaves it unless you send it yourself, and the pages load nothing from advertisers or trackers.

On your device

Your twelve, your Legends ballot, the comics you save on SUCDb, a tour you plan, a set you log, a draft you write — D.O.C. keeps these in your browser's own storage on the device you're using. They aren't sent anywhere. Clearing this site's data in your browser erases them, and they don't follow you to another phone or computer; where a tool offers to copy or download what you've made, that copy is yours to keep.

What gets sent, and how

Nothing is sent on its own. Where a page offers to send something — a room's claim, a gig post, a comic's record, a booking inquiry — it opens your own email app with the message written out, and you decide whether to send it. Each form says which parts are published and which aren't.

D.O.C. isn't accepting submissions yet, so for now those buttons send nothing at all: what you write stays on your device.

Buying the book: you pay on Payhip's own checkout page, which takes the card or PayPal — your card number never reaches D.O.C. Payhip delivers the download on screen and by email.

Hearing when the book is out: the book page's button opens your email app with a short note. Your address is used only to tell you when the book and the audiobook are on sale. Reply any time to be taken off.

No trackers

The pages load no advertising, analytics or tracking scripts and set no cookies. A ZIP code or town you type builds the searches on that page; where a page keeps it for next time, it stays on your device like everything else.

Your location is asked for only when you press Use my location — on the Comedy Calendar's Near me, or Stage Time's open-mic finder — and your browser asks your permission first. The position measures the miles on that page while it's open; it isn't saved, put in the page's address, or sent anywhere.

Links out

Maps, searches, ticket sellers, clubs' own sites and videos open on the service that runs them, under that service's own privacy policy. If a ticket link ever earns D.O.C. a commission, the page with that link says so.
