What a Disciple of the comedy fan club gets
Start with your twelve
The letter is about what you follow. Pick your twelve comedians on Your D.O.C., follow the rooms you go to from the Club Directory, add your town — then sign up here, or from any of those pages.
Questions about becoming a Disciple
Is the comedy fan club free?
Yes. Becoming a Disciple costs nothing, and there is nothing to buy to stay one. You can leave any time, with one click at the foot of any letter.
Who can become a Disciple?
Anyone 18 or over. D.O.C. is for adults: the fan club is 18 and over, and a meet-up held where alcohol is served is 21 and over.
What is a Disciple?
A comedy fan who follows their comedians on D.O.C. The site is Disciples of Comedy, and so are you: sign up with your email, and the D.O.C. letter brings the news of the comedians, rooms and towns you follow.
Do I need a password?
No. Your email address is your membership. There is no account to open and nothing to remember: every letter carries the link that brings your twelve back on any phone or computer.
How do I choose what the letter tells me?
Pick your twelve comedians on Your D.O.C., follow the rooms you go to on their pages, and add your town. Sign up from any of those pages, or here; each sign-up brings what you follow up to date.
Who keeps my address?
D.O.C., through Kit, the email service that sends the letter. Your address isn’t sold or shared.
Is this the same as membership for comedians?
No. Disciples are the fans. Comedians have a membership of their own, which they join through a member’s invitation or by sending their SUCDb record.
