Who Tom Deacon is

Tom Deacon is a stand-up comedian and broadcaster who won the Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2007 and became a regular on the comedy circuit, taking solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe from Indecisive (2009) to Get Your Deac-on! (2014), touring Australia with the Melbourne Comedy Festival Roadshow in 2013 and bringing Rapture to the New Zealand International Comedy Festival in 2019.

On radio Deacon has hosted The Tom Deacon Comedy Show and The 5.19 Show on BBC Radio 1 and a breakfast show on Capital FM, and made Tom Deacon's Road Trip and Act Your Age for BBC Radio 4; on television Deacon has done stand-up on The Rob Brydon Show and Dave's One Night Stand. Deacon also hosted the first Formula One esports tournament on Sky F1 in 2017 and the F1 Esports Pro Series, and Copa90's The Eurofan.
