Who Pat Cahill is
Pat Cahill is a stand-up comedian and writer who won the Amused Moose National New Comic Award and reached the final of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011, then took Chortle's Best Newcomer award and the Hackney Empire New Act award in 2012.
His Edinburgh Fringe hours run from Start (2013) and Panjandrum (2015) to The Fisherman (2017), Clagnut (2018) and Uncle Len Needs a New Part for His Hoover (2019), alongside the double act 110% John Kearns and Pat Cahill, and he was nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2016. He has supported Ardal O'Hanlon and Nina Conti on national tours, played comedy across Europe, appeared on Dave's One Night Stand and BBC Radio 4's The Now Show, and made the models for the 2026 comedy film Lost on the Road.
