Who Rob Brydon is

Rob Brydon is a comedian, actor and television host who made his name with the series he co-created, Marion and Geoff with Hugo Blick and Human Remains with Julia Davis, and took his characters to the Edinburgh Fringe in Marion and Geoff (2003) and The Keith Barret Show (2004).

His stand-up tour Rob Brydon Live (2008) led to a sell-out national tour and West End run in 2009, I Am Standing Up returned him to stand-up in 2016, and after Brydon, Mack and Mitchell: Town to Town (2018) he has toured evenings of songs, stories, comedy and impressions, from Songs and Stories (2019) to a festive show with an eight-piece band that followed a sell-out West End night in 2024. On television he hosts Would I Lie to You?, starred in Gavin & Stacey, co-stars with Steve Coogan in Michael Winterbottom's The Trip, from the Peak District in 2010 to Italy (2014) and Spain (2017), and in 2025 was named host of ITV's prime-time quiz show The Floor.
