Who Stuart Goldsmith is

Stuart Goldsmith is a British stand-up comedian who describes himself as a climate comedian, and the host since 2012 of The Comedian's Comedian podcast, for which he has interviewed more than 500 comedians about how they work. A So You Think You're Funny? finalist in 2005, he won the Malcolm Hardee Cunning Stunt Award at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe, and his climate-crisis show Spoilers won Best Show at the 2023 Leicester Comedy Festival and was long-listed for Best Show at the 2023 (ISH) Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

He has performed stand-up on the BBC's Live at the Apollo (2025), Conan on TBS (2019) and Russell Howard's Stand Up Central, and played the SXSW comedy festival in Austin, Texas, each year from 2022 to 2025. His new show Canary played the 2026 Machynlleth Comedy Festival as a work in progress and took him on his first UK tour in nearly a decade, in autumn 2026.
