Who Rosco McClelland is

Rosco McClelland is a stand-up comedian from Glasgow who has been entertaining audiences for more than a decade with a unique look at the absurdities of everyday life. In 2025 he won the Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival and Best International Act at the New Zealand Comedy Festival, and his Edinburgh Fringe runs, most notably Sudden Death, have sold out, as have his shows at the Adelaide and Perth Fringe festivals.

On air he is a regular panellist on BBC Radio Scotland's Breaking the News and has appeared in Scot Squad, Up for It, STV's The Late Show, BBC Four's Best of the Fest and CBBC's The Dog Ate My Homework, and he co-hosts the podcast Shooting Ropes with Christopher Macarthur-Boyd.
