Who Alana Jackson is
Alana Jackson is an actor and stand-up comedian from Glasgow, working from London and Scotland, who trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and won the So You Think You're Funny? new-act competition at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2024. Her debut stand-up hour, Last Orders, sold out its run at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe and was invited to Soho Theatre, Glasgow's Citizens Theatre and the Glasgow Comedy Festival. As an actor she has worked with the National Theatre of Scotland, Vanishing Point, the Barbican and the Royal Court, appeared in BBC Scotland's Scot Squad and in radio plays for BBC Scotland, and acted in the short film The Doghouse for Hat Trick and BBC Three.
