Mat Ewins is a UK comedian known for silly, inventive multimedia comedy, building live games, animations, video stunts and playable video-game parodies into his stage shows. A Chortle Student Comedy Award finalist in 2009, he was nominated for Best Comedy Show at the 2017 Edinburgh Comedy Awards with Adventureman 7: The Return of Adventureman, and won Best Show at the Comedians' Choice Awards two years running, in 2016 for Mat Ewins Will Make You a Star and in 2017 for Adventureman 7.
His 2024 Fringe show Ewins Some You Lose Some was nominated for Best Show at the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards. His television credits include 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Live From the BBC, Harry Hill's Clubnite and Question Team, and he is a sought-after developer and writer for television. He makes the YouTube series Mat's Made A Game on a games engine he wrote himself, and co-hosts the improvised mystery podcast Microscope with John Kearns.
