Who Adam Hess is

Adam Hess is a stand-up comedian and comedy writer who won the Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2011 and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2015 Edinburgh Comedy Awards with his Fringe debut, Salmon, which went on to Soho Theatre, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Kilkenny's Cat Laughs. He followed it with the Fringe hours Feathers (2016), which toured the UK, Cactus (2017), Seahorse (2018) and My Grandad Has a Fringe (2019), and was nominated Best Club Comic at the 2016 Chortle Awards.

He has appeared on BBC Two's Live from the BBC, ITV2's @elevenish, BBC One's Count Arthur Strong, BBC Radio 4's Don't Make Me Laugh and ABC's Comedy Up Late, was a staff writer on Russell Howard's Good News, supported David Baddiel on tour, and is one of the creators of The Bearpit Podcast Podcast.
