Who Huge Davies is
Huge Davies is a British stand-up comedian known for dark, deadpan and surreal material delivered with a customised keyboard strapped to him on stage. His debut hour The Carpark was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2019 Edinburgh Comedy Awards, had three runs at Soho Theatre and was filmed as a special by 800 Pound Gorilla Media, and his later shows Whodunnit and Album 4 My Ancestors (dead) also sold out; Whodunnit was long-listed for Best Show at the 2023 (ISH) Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and he was nominated for the Malcolm Hardee Cunning Stunt Award in 2024.
He created, wrote and starred in the Channel 4 sitcom The Artists (2022), and his television work includes 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Roast Battle, Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club, Live at the Comedy Store and The Stand Up Sketch Show. He was a finalist in Leicester Square Theatre's New Comedian of the Year, has supported Phil Wang and Joe Lycett on national tours and co-hosts the podcast Slime Country with Ed Night and Sunil Patel. In 2026 he brought a work in progress to the Machynlleth Comedy Festival (2 May) and the Wells Comedy Festival (22 May).
