Who Matt Richardson is

Matt Richardson is a stand-up comedian and presenter who started stand-up in 2009, at eighteen, reached the finals of So You Think You're Funny? and the Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2010, and won the new act competitions of the Newbury and Bath comedy festivals, Bath's in 2011. He has toured the solo shows Hometown Hero (2013), Slash, which played the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017 before a sixty-date tour, Imposter (2019) and Brash, released as his first stand-up special on YouTube.

His first presenting job was The Xtra Factor on ITV2 in 2013, alongside Caroline Flack, followed by The Hangover Games on E4 and Celebrity Haunted Mansion on W; he was a regular panellist on Big Brother's Bit on the Side for three years, has appeared on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Roast Battle, Drunk History and The Stand Up Sketch Show, hosted Virgin Radio's drive-time show for three years, and co-hosts the podcast A Little Bit Green with Angela Barnes.
