Who Chris Martin is

Chris Martin is a British stand-up comedian and producer, not the Coldplay singer, who was runner-up for the Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2006 and has taken solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe from No. Not That One (2011) and Responsibilliness (2014) to The One and Only Chris Martin (2017) and Chris Martin Lied To Us (2026). Martin was nominated for the Amused Moose Comedy Award in 2017, appeared on Comedy Central at the Comedy Store and Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, and played Mark in Horrible Science. Martin's Dry Bar Comedy special A Very British Special looks at America through British eyes, and the album Above Ground Comedian came out on Blonde Medicine in 2024.
