Loyiso Gola is a stand-up comedian and television host who anchored Late Nite News with Loyiso Gola, a South African news parody on eNCA that was nominated for an International Emmy in the comedy category in 2013. He has taken a run of shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, from Barely Legal: The 18-Year-Old Democracy (2012) and The Professional Black! (2013) to Unlearning (2017) and Pop Culture (2019), performed on Live at the Apollo in 2018 and hosted an episode in 2021, and has appeared on QI, Would I Lie to You?, Mock the Week and BBC Radio 4's The Now Show.
