Who Jordan Brookes is
Jordan Brookes is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer who won the Edinburgh Comedy Award for best show in 2019 with I've Got Nothing, praised by the judges for its originality, its playfulness with the audience, its timing and its sheer laughter count. He had first been nominated in 2017 for his third solo hour, Body of Work, which began at a free venue and transferred to the Pleasance Courtyard on word of mouth.
His stand-up has featured on The Russell Howard Hour, Late Night Mash, The Mash Report, Soho Theatre Live and Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club, and his musical show Fontanelle sold out its Edinburgh Fringe run before transferring to Soho Theatre. As an actor he has appeared in Romesh Ranganathan's Avoidance, and he has made short-form pilots for Channel 4 and Sky.
