Who Romesh Ranganathan is

Romesh Ranganathan is a stand-up comedian, presenter and writer from Crawley, England, known for fronting hugely popular television series. His sold-out tour The Cynic's Mixtape ended with a taping at The Hawth in his home town, released as a Netflix special; his next tour, Hustle, sold out across the UK, with two nights at London's O2, and in 2023 he played a sold-out stand-up show at New York's Town Hall.

On television he has made The Misadventures of Romesh Ranganathan, Rob & Romesh Vs, The Ranganation, Asian Provocateur, the BBC One comedy Avoidance, Sky's Romantic Getaway and Can't Knock the Hustle, and he has hosted The Weakest Link; on radio he presents a Saturday show and For the Love of Hip Hop on BBC Radio 2, which won a Radio Academy ARIA Gold in 2023. He co-hosts the podcast Wolf & Owl with Tom Davis, recorded live at the Brighton Dome Comedy Festival in October 2025, and has written the books Straight Outta Crawley and As Good as It Gets and the children's novels Lil' Muffin Drops the Mic and Yasmin Bandara Levels Up!.
