Jon Fisch
Who Jon Fisch is
Jon Fisch is a stand-up comedian from Boston and a staple of the New York comedy scene, a prolific monologist whose act focuses on the idiosyncrasies of city living. Soon after moving to New York he was chosen as one of Comedy Central's Fresh Faces of Comedy and named one of Back Stage's ten standout stand-ups, and he was the New York City audience favourite on the fourth season of Last Comic Standing.
He has appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Comedy Central's Premium Blend and AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, played the New Faces showcase at Just for Laughs in Montreal and the HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, and was handpicked to open for Jerry Seinfeld at Gotham Comedy Club in 2009. He hosted the podcast In the Tank, his albums are He Has Friends (2014) and Hinged (The Laugh Button Records, 2021), and his track Teaching Jewish, from Hinged, was played on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy channel in September 2023.
