Who Jemaine Clement is

Jemaine Clement is a New Zealand comedian and musician, one half of the musical comedy duo Flight of the Conchords with Bret McKenzie. In 1999 he shared New Zealand's Billy T Award, the NZ Comedy Trust's prize for an outstanding emerging comedian, with Taika Waititi as the double act The Humourbeasts.

Flight of the Conchords made their HBO debut in an edition of the stand-up series One Night Stand in 2005 and starred in their own HBO series, Flight of the Conchords, from 2007; their EP The Distant Future won a Grammy, and their albums include Flight of the Conchords (2008) and I Told You I Was Freaky (2009). The duo returned to HBO in 2018 with the comedy special Live in London, taped at the Eventim Apollo on their Flight of the Conchords Sing Flight of the Conchords tour.
