Who Alun Cochrane is

Alun Cochrane is a British stand-up comedian, born in Glasgow and raised in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, whose first Edinburgh Fringe show was nominated for Best Newcomer in 2004. Cochrane won Chortle's Best Club Comic award in 2012 and Dave's Funniest Joke of the Fringe in 2015, and on television has done stand-up on Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow (2009), appeared on Mock the Week, Have I Got News for You, 8 Out of 10 Cats and Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and played Sam in Sky Living's sitcom Trying Again (2014).

On radio Cochrane co-hosted The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute Radio, wrote and starred in Radio 4's Alun Cochrane's Fun House (2013), and has appeared on The News Quiz, The Now Show and Just a Minute; the stand-up special Oven Glove is on YouTube.
