Who Stephen K. Amos is

Stephen K. Amos is a stand-up comedian and a stalwart of the British circuit who made his Edinburgh Fringe debut in 2001 and has returned every year since 2003, with hours from More of Me (2007) and Find the Funny (2008) to Oxymoron (2024) and 11½ Angry Men (2026). He played the Melbourne International Comedy Festival every year from 2006 to 2009, won a Time Out award for comedy in 2004 and was nominated three times for the Chortle Award for best compere.

On television he has done stand-up on Live at the Apollo and the 2007 Royal Variety Performance, appeared on Have I Got News for You and Mock the Week and was in the cast of the BBC Two sitcom In My Country, and his UK tours run from Welcome to My World (2013) to Now We're Talking! (2025). In 2025 he was on the bill of the Utrecht International Comedy Festival.
