Who Randy Lubas is

Randy Lubas is a stand-up comedian, writer, actor, voice actor, producer and talent manager who started out in Pittsburgh about forty years ago and has performed in forty states, four Canadian provinces and on cruise ships around the world. He opened J.R.'s Comedy Club in Valencia, California, in 1998, ran a full-time club in Ventura for twelve years from 2008 and produced the Ventura Comedy Festival for nine years.

He has made more than two dozen national television appearances, including Showtime, Comedy Central and The Nashville Network, his CD Worst Case Scenarios has sold more than ten thousand copies, and his hour You Don't Have to Look Far for the Jokes!, which he wrote, directed and co-produced, came out through Comedy Dynamics in 2025. He has also written weekly newspaper columns, stage plays and screenplays and appeared in the films Cover Story and Die Laughing.
