Who Jamie Kilstein is

Jamie Kilstein is a stand-up comedian, podcaster and writer based in Austin, Texas, who got his start opening for Marc Maron and Doug Stanhope and playing coffee houses around the country, and who was mentored by Robin Williams. He appeared on the New Faces showcase at Montreal's Just For Laughs in 2007 and returned the next year with his own solo show, and he has performed stand-up on Conan, Showtime and the BBC and at the Edinburgh Fringe, the Melbourne and Sydney comedy festivals, Bumbershoot, Lowlands and Latitude, co-headlining with Reggie Watts at the Sydney Opera House.

Stand Up! Records released his albums Zombie Jesus (2009), Libel, Slander & Sedition (2011) and What Alive People Do (2013), and 25 Percent Capacity followed in 2020. In 2022 he played New York's Beacon Theatre, he also teaches comedy, and his track Trying to Be Edgy, the opening track of Zombie Jesus, was played on SiriusXM's Raw Comedy channel in November 2023.
