Comedian, writer, director and producer whose career grew from stand-up into filmmaking and comedy-history media. He wrote and directed films including The Upside of Anger and Reign Over Me and created Showtime's five-part documentary series The Comedy Store. He also serves as editor in chief of Standupworld and continues hosting comedy-media programming.
