Who Mark Silcox is

Mark Silcox is a stand-up comedian and actor with a deadpan style who began performing stand-up in 2009 and reached the final of the BBC New Comedy Award in 2013. Silcox's Edinburgh Fringe shows run from No Women Plenty of Cry (2015) and four editions of I Can Cure (2017 to 2022) to Women Only (2023 and 2024), The Gold Trader (2025) and I Have It All [A Success Story] (2026), and in 2023 Silcox was nominated for Comic Originality at the Malcolm Hardee Awards. On screen Silcox has appeared in Man Like Mobeen, Mandy, Joe Lycett's Got Your Back, Bad Education and the second series of Last One Laughing UK.
