Who Lloyd Langford is

Lloyd Langford is a Welsh stand-up comedian from Port Talbot, now based in Australia, who won the first Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2004. Over two decades in the UK he took a run of solo shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, from Not a Lover, Not a Fighter (2008) to Why the Big Face? (2018), won Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival in 2018, and became a regular on BBC One's Ask Rhod Gilbert and co-host of The Rhod Gilbert Show on BBC Radio Wales, as well as a guest on The News Quiz, QI and Never Mind the Buzzcocks.

Since coming to Australia in 2015 he has toured the country, been a regular panellist on Have You Been Paying Attention?, appeared on Taskmaster Australia and Thank God You're Here, and his special Current Mood was nominated for the AACTA Award for Best Stand-up Special in 2024. He also co-created and wrote The Island for Dave in 2022.
