Jon Stewart is a stand-up comedian and television host from New York City, known for hosting The Daily Show from 1999 to 2015 and part-time since 2024. He made his stand-up debut at The Bitter End in 1987, became a regular at the Comedy Cellar, and released the HBO special Jon Stewart: Unleavened in 1996. He has also hosted The Jon Stewart Show on MTV, The Problem with Jon Stewart on Apple TV+ and the Academy Awards in 2006 and 2008, and hosts the podcast The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart.
