Bob Hope

Who Bob Hope is

British-born American comedian and actor whose career spanned nearly 80 years across vaudeville, Broadway, radio, film and television, built on rapid-fire, self-deprecating one-liners. He starred in more than 50 feature films including the seven 'Road to ...' pictures with Bing Crosby, hosted the Academy Awards a record 19 times, and headlined 57 USO tours for US troops between 1941 and 1991. He died in 2003 at age 100.
