Who Finlay Christie is

Finlay Christie is an English stand-up comedian and YouTube sketch-maker whose comedy grows from his life as a member of Gen Z. In 2019, aged 19, he won the So You Think You're Funny? competition, one of its youngest winners, and the same year he reached the final of the Chortle Student Comedy Awards. His debut Edinburgh hour, OK Zoomer, was nominated for NextUp's Best Show award and released as a special on YouTube in October 2023; his 2024 Fringe show I Deserve This was long-listed for Best Show at the ISH Edinburgh Comedy Awards, and that year he was also nominated for the Malcolm Hardee Act That Should Make a Million Quid award.

He has appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, The Stand-Up Sketch Show, Comedy Central Live and Channel 4's Person on a Chair and Jokes Only An AI Can Tell, and has played Montreal's Just For Laughs festival. His YouTube channel of sketches and stand-up has more than 450,000 subscribers, and he tried out a new hour at the Machynlleth Comedy Festival on 2 May 2026.
