Who David Eagle is
David Eagle is a stand-up comedian, folk singer and DJ who bills himself as a blind folk-singing comedian and is one third of the folk band The Young'uns, three-time winners of the BBC Radio 2 Folk Award. He began stand-up in 2018 and soon collected new-act prizes: New Act of the Year at the Nottingham Comedy Festival in 2018, then in 2019 the Bath Comedy Festival's New Act Competition and the Leicester Square Theatre's New Comedian of the Year. He has his own BBC Radio 4 comedy series, See No Eagle, has performed stand-up on Radio 4's The Now Show, appeared on television in Rosie Jones's Disability Comedy Extravaganza, and hosts The David Eagle Podcast.
