Who Ahir Shah is

Ahir Shah is a British stand-up comedian whose show Ends won Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2023, after his earlier shows Duffer and Control were both nominated for the same prize.

Ends went on to sell out five weeks at London's Soho Theatre and two shows at the Royal Court Theatre, played the Netflix Is A Joke Festival in Los Angeles and was released as a Netflix special around the world in September 2024; his first special, Dots, filmed at the Vaudeville Theatre, is on HBO. He has played sold-out runs at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Adelaide Fringe and Just For Laughs in Montreal, toured continental Europe and India, and appeared on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News for You, QI, Mock the Week and Richard Osman's House of Games, as well as writing for The Mash Report and Mock the Week.

In October 2026 he opened his new stand-up show, Golden, at Soho Theatre.
