Adam Oliensis

Who Adam Oliensis is

Adam Oliensis is a New York stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer whose comedy finds the absurd and humbling in everyday grown-up life, and who has opened for Robert Klein, Colin Quinn, Gilbert Gottfried and Larry Miller and plays clubs such as Gotham Comedy Club, Comic Strip Live, Dangerfield's, New York Comedy Club and Levity Live. He won the Paramount Theatre's Standup & Acting Star Search in 2013, has appeared on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, and his debut album, Aged Whine, was played in its entirety on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy channel, where four of its tracks were first heard in January 2022.

Before and alongside stand-up he co-wrote, co-produced and starred with Jon Cryer in the film The Pompatus of Love, wrote the Obie-honoured one-act play Ring of Men, and for twelve years was producing director of New York's Willow Cabin Theatre Company, whose Wilder, Wilder, Wilder went to Broadway and earned him Tony and Drama Desk nominations as a producer.
