Who Seán Cullen is

Seán Cullen is a Canadian comedian, actor and writer, born in Peterborough, Ontario, in 1965, who spent thirteen years from the late 1980s in the musical comedy trio Corky and the Juice Pigs, touring with Barenaked Ladies and winning an award at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Cullen wrote and starred in The Seán Cullen Show on CBC, made the stand-up specials Comedy Central Presents and Comedy Now!, was a finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing, has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show, and has played Just for Laughs in Montreal many times; Cullen has won three Gemini Awards (2001, 2003 and 2006) and a Canadian Comedy Award for the film Phil the Alien.

Cullen also played Max Bialystock in the Canadian production of The Producers, writes the Hamish X novels and The Chronicles of the Misplaced Prince, hosts the podcast The Seánpod, and has released the albums Seán Cullen Live, I Am a Human Man and Live from Planet Serpo.
