Who Robert G. Lee is

Robert G. Lee is a clean stand-up comedian and writer with more than three decades in entertainment, who grew up in Indiana, got his break in Hollywood on Golden Girls and spent some twenty years as a warm-up comedian for network television, working the studio audiences of more than 1,500 episodes of shows from Cheers, Wings and The Drew Carey Show to Two and a Half Men and Mom.

He has recorded more than ten clean comedy specials, among them Laughter's Still Legal (2020) for Dry Bar Comedy and Comic, his tenth, has been featured on Bananas and VH1's Stand Up Spotlight, and is heard on SiriusXM. Lee pairs a Christian worldview with a Monty Python sensibility, has written VeggieTales videos including Little Joe, Gideon and Sheerluck Holmes and episodes of the animated series 3-2-1 Penguins, wrote and directed the comedy Can I Get a Witness Protection?, and teaches a ten-week comedy masterclass.
