Liz Barrett
Who Liz Barrett is
Liz Barrett is a New York-based stand-up comedian and writer, raised in a military family that moved all around the world, whose deadpan one-liners have drawn comparisons to Steven Wright. She has appeared on AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live, Fox's Laughs, Lifetime and Funny or Die, headlined Carolines as part of its Breakout Artist Series, and opened for Judy Gold and Gilbert Gottfried.
She was a finalist at the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in 2016 and at the She-Devil Comedy Festival, has played Limestone, the Women in Comedy Festival and the Rogue Island Comedy Festival, and for five years produced her own monthly show, Grin and Barrett. Her album Gettin' By came out on Pinch Records in August 2023, and two of its tracks, Hummus at a Party and What They Don't Tell You About Marriage, were played on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy channel at the end of September 2023.
