Rory Gardiner

Who Rory Gardiner is

Rory Gardiner is a comedian, storyteller and country musician whose shows combine stand-up with music, a 2018 Canadian Country Music Association nominee who has shared the stage with Keith Urban. A former corporate software consultant, Gardiner began making comedy videos after a tornado struck his neighbourhood, turned the story into a TEDx talk on resilience and humour, and then into Tornado Troubles, a night of music, stories and stand-up that he wrote and performed at the 2019 Ottawa Fringe Festival and brought to the Fergus Grand Theatre in 2023, the year his one-man show also played the Esplanade in Medicine Hat.

His comedy has appeared on Canada's Got Talent, America's Funniest Videos and Funny or Die, his videos have drawn more than 100 million views across TikTok and other platforms, and he has been seen on several CMT reality shows. He has performed for corporate events and performing arts centres for more than twenty years, also plays clubs and cruise ships, and works as a keynote speaker and emcee.
