Joyelle Nicole Johnson is a stand-up comedian based in Brooklyn, New York, named in 2020 on Vulture's list of Comedians You Should and Will Know. Her debut stand-up album, Yell Joy, came out on Blonde Medicine on 19 June 2021, and her first televised special, Love Joy, recorded at the Bell House, was released on Peacock in 2021. She has played festivals including Atlanta's West End Comedy Fest in 2022, SXSW in 2023 and the Flyover Comedy Festival in St. Louis in 2024, and her track JFL 2023 Big in Taiwan was played on SiriusXM's Raw Comedy channel in November 2025.

Johnson began performing stand-up in 2006, has written for Broad City and Pause with Sam Jay, and was the warm-up comic for Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj; her work on Pause with Sam Jay earned a Writers Guild of America Award nomination in 2023.

Love Joy, released on Peacock in November 2021 with Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers as executive producers, was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award for Best Comedy Special in 2022, and in 2023 she joined NPR's Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! as a panelist.
