Who John Heffron is

John Heffron is a stand-up comic, born in New York City and raised in South Lyon, Michigan, who began as an Eastern Michigan University student emceeing the Main Street Comedy Showcase on the University of Michigan campus and later spent five years in Detroit radio as Danny Bonaduce's sidekick on the morning show Danny Bonaduce and the Q Crew. He won the second season of NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2004, has taped two Comedy Central Presents specials and the hour Middle Class Funny, which streams on Netflix, and has appeared on The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show and Chelsea Lately. He has released albums from Kid With a Cape (1997) to Episodes (2019), launched the podcast The State I'm In on the All Things Comedy network in 2014, and wrote the advice book I Come to You From the Future.
