Who Jason Manford is

Jason Manford is an English stand-up comedian, presenter, actor and singer from Salford who started out in 1999, aged 17, at the Buzz Comedy Club in Chorlton, Manchester, was named City Life North West Comedian of the Year six gigs later, and was nominated for the Perrier Award in 2005 with Urban Legends; he is also among the past entrants of the BBC New Comedy Awards. His tours run from I'm Turning Into My Dad (2010) and First World Problems (2013 to 2014, released on DVD) to Muddle Class (2018) and Like Me, which played more than 200 dates in 2021 and 2022.

On television he was a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats, has played Live at the Apollo and the Royal Variety Performance, came second as Hedgehog on The Masked Singer in 2020 and has hosted the Olivier Awards four times. He has starred in musicals from The Producers to Curtains, reached the UK top ten with the album A Different Stage (2017), and presents a Sunday morning show on Absolute Radio.
