Who Jan van Weyde is

Jan van Weyde is a German stand-up comedian, actor and voice actor, born in Bonn in 1979 and based in Cologne, who won first place and shared the audience prize at the 18th Hamburger Comedy Pokal in 2020. After training as an actor he played the hotel page Xaver Steindle in ARD's telenovela Sturm der Liebe from 2005 to 2013, took up stand-up in 2014 at stages such as Nightwash and the Quatsch Comedy Club, and has toured three solo programmes, from Große Klappe - Die Erste! and Weyder geht's! to Immer Weyder..., which opened in March 2026.

On screen Jan van Weyde is part of the parody show Binge Reloaded on Amazon Prime, Sketch History on ZDF and the comedy series Ghosts, writes for Kalkofes Mattscheibe, and has made the podcast Lass Hör'n with David Kebekus since 2019.
