Who Jackie Mason is

Jackie Mason was a stand-up comedian and actor from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, raised on Manhattan's Lower East Side, known for his one-man shows on Broadway. An ordained rabbi who resigned from his synagogue post to become a comedian, he played New York City nightclubs and was a frequent guest on The Ed Sullivan Show from 1961 to 1968. His 1986 one-man show The World According to Me! received a Special Tony Award and became a 1988 HBO special, and he won an Emmy Award for voicing Rabbi Hyman Krustofski on The Simpsons.
