Who Ivan Decker is

Ivan Decker is a Canadian stand-up comedian and writer from Vancouver, now based in Los Angeles, known for sharp, polished and multi-layered observational comedy. His debut album, I Wanted to Be a Dinosaur (2016), won the Juno Award for Comedy Album of the Year in 2018. He has taped television sets at Just for Laughs in Montreal and the Winnipeg and Halifax comedy festivals for CBC, is heard on CBC Radio's The Debaters, was named a Comic to Watch by TBS at the 2017 New York Comedy Festival and made his U.S. television debut on Conan.

His first special, Underwater Scissors, is part of Netflix's Comedians of the World collection, and his latest, Popcorn!, came out on YouTube and as an album in 2024. His stand-up was played on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy channel in January 2022, and his track Dinosaurs on Raw Comedy in August 2024.
