Fred Armisen is a comedian, actor and musician raised in Valley Stream, New York, known for 11 seasons on Saturday Night Live and for co-creating Portlandia. His stand-up special Standup for Drummers was released on Netflix in 2018, the album of the same name was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album, and he led the 8G Band on Late Night with Seth Meyers from 2014 to 2024. He also co-created Documentary Now! and Los Espookys.
