Who Frankie Boyle is

Frankie Boyle is a stand-up comedian and writer whose stand-up career began with a win in The Daily Telegraph's Open Mic competition in 1996, and who became a regular panellist on BBC Two's Mock the Week and on 8 Out of 10 Cats, which Boyle also wrote for.

Boyle's tours include I Would Happily Punch Every One of You in the Face (2008), Last Days of Sodom (2011), Hurt Like You've Never Been Loved (2014) and Full Power (2018), and Boyle's Edinburgh Fringe shows run from 2002 to Prometheus Volume I (2017) and Lap of Shame (2022 and 2023). Boyle has written the books Work! Consume! Die!, Scotland's Jesus, Your Guide to Hell, The Future of British Politics, A Short History of the Apocalypse and Meantime, and co-hosts the podcast Here Comes the Guillotine with Susie McCabe and Christopher MacArthur-Boyd.
