Who Francisco Ramos is
Francisco Ramos is a stand-up comedian, actor, voice-over artist and director, originally from Venezuela and raised in Washington, D.C., who studied finance and international business at the University of Maryland before turning to comedy. He was a top-ten finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2015, won first place at the Lucille Ball Comedy Festival, shot his stand-up special Entre Nos for HBO and played the first Netflix Is a Joke Festival, and has appeared on Comedy Central's @midnight and several times on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
As an actor he plays Felix in Netflix's Gentefied and has appeared in Hulu's This Fool, Showtime's Shameless, Angie Tribeca and Netflix's Lady Dynamite, and he voiced a marmoset in the animated film Rio and a character in Cartoon Network's Victor and Valentino. He directed, co-wrote and starred in the short Zoo Animals, acquired by Max, and was part of Lorne Michaels' Latino comedy studio Mas Mejor. His debut album Vayalo! (800 Pound Gorilla Records, 2017) reached the top five of the Billboard comedy chart, followed by Venezuela'Merican (2024) and Still Learning (Comedy Dynamics, 2026), and his tracks were among the most-played on SiriusXM's Raw Dog Comedy channel in February 2023 and its Raw Comedy channel in November 2024.
