Who Danielle Walker is
Danielle Walker is an Australian stand-up comedian who grew up in the rainforest of Far North Queensland. Walker won RAW Comedy in 2016 and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's Best Newcomer award in 2018 with Bush Rat, and in 2022 took the festival's Pinder Prize and a Moosehead Award and was nominated for Most Outstanding Show.
On television Walker won the first season of Taskmaster Australia in 2023, was nominated for the Silver Logie for Best Comedy Actress in 2024, and has appeared in the ABC's Gold Diggers, Get Krack!n, Spicks and Specks and Question Everything, on Just for Laughs Sydney and in the Melbourne festival's All Stars Gala on the ABC. Walker's show Bittersweet has played the Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane comedy festivals.
