Who Dan Antopolski is
Dan Antopolski is a stand-up comedian, actor and writer who won the BBC New Comedy Award in 1998 and reached the finals of The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award and Channel 4's So You Think You're Funny?. Antopolski's debut Edinburgh hour, Second Coming, was nominated for the Perrier Best Newcomer award and Antopolski 2000 for the Perrier Award itself, and the Fringe shows since run from The Presence (2002) and A Whim Away (2004) to Penetrating Gaze (2008), Silent But Deadly (2009), Turn of the Century (2010) and Return of the Dan Antopolski (2017), with three Fringe runs of the sketch group Jigsaw, regulars on BBC Three's Live at the Electric with two series on Radio 4.
On screen Antopolski played technical officer Jeffers in BBC Two's Hyperdrive, the title role in CBBC's The Dare Devil and Jesus in The Da Vinci Code, with later parts in Paddington 2 and Good Omens, and has played Just for Laughs in Montreal and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
