Clinton Jackson

Who Clinton Jackson is

Clinton Jackson is a stand-up comedian and actor, born and raised in Oakland, California, who decided he was a stand-up comic at nine and still calls stand-up his first love. His stand-up television includes his own Comedy Central Presents half hour and a guest spot on CBS's The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, and he has opened for Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Donna Summer, Chris Rock and Steven Wright.

A set at HBO's Aspen Comedy Festival led to a regular role as science teacher Mezz Crosby on The WB's Nick Freno, and his acting credits since include Hacks, Night Court, The Goldbergs, Fresh Off the Boat and Jane the Virgin. His comedy albums Nuff Said and Do You See The Ducks Now are played on Sirius comedy radio, and his newest is Soup Piñata.
