Their stand-up

Ali Wong worked the club circuit, wrote for television and toured relentlessly before Baby Cobra became a streaming breakthrough. The special’s visual premise was immediate; the writing underneath made it durable.

Her comedy connects body, career, money, family and desire without sanding down contradiction. Film, television and books expanded the audience, while stand-up remains the source code.
