Who Chris Parker is

Chris Parker is a New Zealand stand-up comedian, actor and writer who won Best Newcomer at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival in 2015 with his debut show, the festival's Fred Award for the best New Zealand show in 2018, the inaugural Topp Prize in 2022 and the Rielly Comedy Award in 2024.

On television he won Celebrity Treasure Island, has been a regular on 7 Days, Have You Been Paying Attention? and Taskmaster NZ, won his episode of Australia's Thank God You're Here in 2024 and made the comedy documentary special Back to School in 2022, and he co-created the comedy series Double Parked with Alice Snedden. He co-hosts the podcast The Male Gays with Eli Matthewson, published his first novel, Here for a Good Time, in 2022, and his 2026 show Take a Good Hard Look at Me has toured Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
